There are times when I simply do not have enough hours in the day to give the full attention that my work here requires, why must we sleep?

Scripting the Short Film

One Day Workshop

SCN4-A: Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, 10am-4pm
Instructor: David Trees
Tuition: $145.00
6 Clock Hrs.

The short narrative film is a unique form that, whether experimental or traditional, requires discipline and skill on the part of the writer. This one-day workshop will guide students through an introduction to the story telling process, from concept to finished page, focusing on structure, characterization, conflict and drama, and a compilation of useful tips. The class will discuss the production values and logistics of creating short films that need to be considered when writing a script. Also included will be viewing and analysis of short films, and an opportunity for students to begin crafting story concepts into short scripts.
